I'm still around!

Hi All!

 

   I'm here and still cooking! SO much has changed in the past 2 years. My little family has been through a lot. In Jan of '12 my husband was informed that his company had lost their contract and pretty much everyone would be out of a job within 3 months. Awesome, right? 2 months later we rented out our home sweet home in CO, packed up everything we had and moved to Utah. Moving is never an enjoyable experience, but you do what you can to settle in and make your new location your home. 2 weeks to the day that we arrived in UT, we received some life shattering news. My father-in-law had passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. The next year was filled with many trips home to CA to be with family and to take care of as much as we could. We also came uncomfortably close to losing our Colorado home to a terrible fire that destroyed so much of our beautiful mountain town. It was a very stressful year for us, to say the least. Since then we've moved AGAIN (and hopefully the last time for a while) to a new house in Utah.

 

 

Northern Utah is now home.  Life goes on.
